How you can double your affiliate sales with this one tip

Affiliate marketing is one of the biggest ways that website owners are making money on the internet today. Affiliate marketing is simply just taking another persons product and then promoting it an your website. Whenever somebody clicks on your affiliate link and then purchase your affiliate product, you get a percentage of the sale.

Affiliate marketing works very well but there is one very big problem that can really drive your sales down, and make it hard to sell anything. This problem is what I like to call cold marketing. The reason for this is that people are not willing to give their money to just anybody.

They have to trust you first. Usually this is done by talking to the customer face to face and building a relationship with this person. However; on the internet you have no face, you have no personality, and it is much harder to build that trust relationship with your potential customer.

For this reason the technique of pre-selling was invented. This technique brings a face and personality to yourself online and helps to build that trust that will warm the customer up to buying from you.

The idea behind pre-selling is to warm the customer up, and get them to trust you, this is done connecting with your customers, you have to write with personality and you have to relate to the customers that are on your website.

The best way I have found to do this is to write content that will identify a problem that your customer is having. Talk about this problem and tell them how it relates to you and really just try to give your customer a sense that you were just like them at one time.

Show the customer that you are knowledgeable about the problem and the topic at hand. This helps to build trust with the customer.

Once you have achieved this you can then introduce your product into the mix and explain how your product is the best solution to their problem. Explain how it works, the benefits and features and what it did for you.

The biggest thing to remember is that YOU are not selling the product you are merely warming the customer up and then sending them to your affiliate's sales page. This technique will help to warm your customers up so that they are more willing to buy.
