Popular Pay Per Click Advertising Programs
Search engine pay per click advertising is a great addition to your website because, it is very easy to make money, all that has to happen is for someone to click the ad and you get paid. The biggest downside to pay per click advertisements are that you do not get paid all that much per click; usually just a few cents. That is why I stated above that it is a great addition. You should still be marketing affiliate programs, and have pay per action advertisements on your website, but if you’re looking to earn a few extra dollars a month then adding pay per click advertisements to your website can be profitable. When Google released its’ pay per click program(Adsense), it proved to be such a big success that other search engines and websites started to follow suit and design their own versions of Google Adsense. So what are some of the alternatives to the Google Adsense program? Well there is a couple of pay per click programs out there that offer ads that are similar to Adsense and these include: Yahoo Publishers Network- This is probably one of the closest alternatives to the google Adsense program. Yahoo pay per click ads offer the same text based ads with the same freedom to change color size and format of the ads for better integration into your web pages. Monetization Center – This program is very close to Google Adsense. It offers ads that are based on the content of your web page, and is a pay per click program. The thing I like about this pay per click program is that you are told how much you get paid per click unlike Google Adsense. Nixxie – is another popular alternative for the Google Adsense program. It offers ads that are based on your content, so that the ads are very relevant. It is a pay per click program, but is not specific your actual earnings per click. Mirago – Displays contextual ads on your website, you are paid per click. Mirago ads have a bit of a twist to it though as it uses multiple ways to read your web page content, therefore offering even more relevant ads. These are just a few of the alternatives to Google’s pay per click program. It is important to note that with some of these pay per click programs, they do not allow their ads to be displayed on web pages already containing contextual pay per click ads from another program.
